Christine is a painter from the Eastern Shore, Maryland. She was born in Washington DC and lived in Maryland much of her childhood. As the youngest of 7 her early formative years were influenced by the Artists and Scientists in her family. She fell in love with ice skating and was immersed. The elegance and beauty was an inspiration. The movement to music and images etched in the ice from her blades deeply impact the paintings she creates today.

Studies included the school of Fine Art at Maryland University, College Park with a concentration in painting. Additional training at Maryland Institute College of Art, MICA further fine tuned her work. She holds a BSN in Nursing from The Catholic University of America, Washington, DC. As an RN, Christine spent many years in the trauma operating room at INOVA Fairfax hospital,Va. She was a plastics, reconstructive, and craniofacial specialist there. During this time she concurrently attended art school.

Christine took several years off to raise her son and had the opportunity to travel extensively. Among many expeditions: skiing the serene Swiss, Austrian Alps and British Columbia, ice skating at the base of the Matterhorn, exploring exotic terrain of Alaska, Iceland, Ireland, Nova Scotia, ancient historical Turkey, Bulgaria, Ukrain, Italy, Greece, France, Monte Carlo, UK, Columbia, Cartegena South America, following the migration path of the humpback whales from Alaska to Hawaii, were favorites. These experiences are still a great source of perpetual inspiration in her work.

Christine has exhibited internationally and in many states across the USA. The Cover of “Navy Medicine Magazine” has spotlighted her work as well as subsequent issues across 70 countries. “Warrior Music Foundation” commissioned her to paint 2 guitars, one of which sold for highest price at the auction.

She has participated in events benefiting breast cancer, and Lymphoma Leukemia Society. Her work auctioned again for top dollar there and other at other auctions. Providing areola tattoo re-pigmentation for breast cancer survivors and scar camouflage is a passion. This has given birth to, “GRACEFUL IMPRESSIONS”, a company providing medical tattoos and other restorative aesthetic services.
